OK so Ive has a couple of cubes harvests done. i got 2 pan cyan syringes in the mail today. I'm planning on using the Karo tek and innoc pint jars of finch seed. Ive found dehydrated cow manure but no straw. is there any alternative to straw? and if there isn't any idea where i could get some from.


on i aside note I'm trying to bulk some cube spawn i have according to poo 101 http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/24375
it is recommended to us straw but it also says it is not necessary

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I'm assuming you got some cow manure in the country somewhere, or was that mail order too? j/k. but your bound to find some ranch where they have bails and bails of straw, just don't get shot by some farmer when you get it. If your willing to pay, IFA sells straw aswell.

i actually found the manure at busy beaver the only place that carries garden supplies all year long. will Vern work instead of straw?

I'm back after 5 years!!!!

My cubes grow log (brf spawned poo) 6 years ago.

My outdoor grow log 6 years ago...

My pan cyans grow log from 2004!!

grass seed can be used instead of straw I read that on the shroomery somewhere and tried it too..it works

OK thanks allot that really helps out but i have a couple of questions

1 put it in the oven for 6-8 hours at 65C
can you up the temp and reduce the time i remember that straw has to be below 180f does that apply to this too?

2 is Vern the best casing layer or will a 60/40 combo work
