How do you feel on the way up?

Thought I would start a little poll here....how do you feel when you are "coming up" on shrooms?

Personally, I always feel very anxious.  I feel as if I have an incredible amount of energy running through my body and it has no way of getting out.  I guess this can be described as an incredibly intense body buzz that becomes more and more  uncomfortable  as I get closer to my peak.  But, as soon as I hit that peak ....absolute bliss!  :tongue2:

lots of people i know don't like the shroom come up, especially compared to some other 'drugs'. i get a somewhat unpleasant nauseating feeling in my stomach for like 20 mins, but i often don't notice it too much as i'm busy thinking and feeling other much more pleasant stuff!

I always get a rush like energy drink response but more intense.
In my chest and arms, I can recall the feeling just by thinking of how it felt.  :thumbup:

I usually feel slightly nauseous and a bit giddy. It's kind of hard to put into words

Desiree--- Are those your lips in your icon? If they are they are beautiful.  :shocked: Also if they are yours too, what kind of lipstick are you wearing? Kinda looks like a golden pink, like oyster girl by Mac. Anyways ya, I'm in Illinois also.  :smile:

I always feel anxious and tense or I cant sit still, but lately when I've done them I've felt really nauseous and once I puked. I havent done them in a while cuz I hate puking.  :frown:

Yes, they are my lips. I use MAC and ONLY MAC and the color is nymphette!

Oyster girl (lipglass) is a really shimmery golden pink. Im a Mac freak as well. Is nymphette a lipstick or lipglass? Its lovely.

I suffer anxiety on the comeup every time, but luckily I have learned how to live with it.  I always make sure I have a few key comforting items nearby as the mushrooms kick in, which are:

My tripping journal
Be Here Now

If I ever start to feel *really* anxious, I'll just write how I am feeling in my journal, or read Be Here Now, and the anxiety transforms itself into excitement.  :thumbup:

i get one of two ways...


1. nervous.. i ask myself "have i done the right thing?" i always answer myself yes, but there is a doubt in my mind that surfaces 10-15 mins after consumption occasionally.

2. excited! like im waiting in line at the biggest roller coaster in the universe and im im finally just at the boarding station! it my turn next im thinking!!

as far as nausea goes, i get it every now and then, but its never been a probelm. ive thrown up once and after that i had the most wonderful experience... but that was at a time when i was not being true to myself. i see it as the mushroom purging your body for its sacred spirit to dwell with you in, almost like La Purga .
