Sacred Lotus (Nelumbo Nucifera)

I have 2 ounces of the dried flowers and I am wondering what would be the best way to ingest them to maximize effect. Should I make an extract? Should I ingest it whole via tea or smoke? Soaking it in alcohol has been suggested but I refuse to ingest alcohol at all, so that is out of the question. All help is appreciated.

ever heard of soaking it in alcohol and then evaporating all liquor off? That would leave you with a concentrated, alcohol free Lotus oil.. You would have to use vodka or Everclear though, and let it sit for a week.. You could smoke this oil on a joint or cigarette. .. Start small, see how it feels

Cool. I will try that. I had previously been told to soak it in alcohol and then drink, pretty much make a tincture, that was what I was refering to. Alcohol as a solvent is fine, and I'll buy some 190 proof stuff tomorrow to give it a go. Any recommended concentration? 5:1 or maybe 10:1?

As in lotus : everclear? Um, just cover about a half ounce of the leaves by half an inch of everclear.. Let it sit a week shaking daily... Strain it with a tshirt... Evaping the alcohol could take days unless you use a NO FLAME heat source... and you MUST evap it ourdoors ( unless you got hella ventilation)
