Possible Cyan? ID Help

Ok, so I'm going to do my best to post along the guidelines of the FAQ, so here we go...

Location: PNW (Bellingham, near the Canadian border), I found this growing on the side of a rotting branch in a densly wooded forest area behind a small service building. Also, only these two were found and none others in the surrounding area.

Gills: Cinnamon brown, connected

Cap: roughly between the size of a quarter to a 50 cent piece. Cone like shape with a little nipple in the center, edges wavy and curved upward.

Spore Print: Very light brown, hard to see onto of white paper.

Bruising: Now here's why I'm skeptical and almost positive it is not a cyan, it has not bruised at all, and at the time of this writing it was picked roughly 3 hours ago.

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

it was growing off the side of decomposing branch. The branch was lying atop moss and beside many other pieces of decomposing wood. I highly doubt that this a cyan because it shows NO bruising at all.

At first glance that looks like an Inocybe. Does it have an odor? Try putting all the specimens you have in your cupped hands and sniffing to concentrate the odor.

Inocybes should all be considered poisonous. Most of them have high levels of muscarine.

It had no distinguishing odor, at least not that I noticed anyway. But yea, its definitly not a Cyan. I guess the search will continue...
