DAMN IT!!!! AAARRRGGGGG!!!!! I took all the sterilitly procedures and did them and all that. I'm getting a smell from the jars!!!!!! They are birdseed/verm, sterilized for an hour. The birdseed was steeped for two hours. The strain is PF. Maybe the print was contamed, because I had two jars that smelled bad, and then some of the others followed(The same smell). Is it OK for birdseed to give a weird smell?? I haven't worked with it before. The mycelium growth is very healthy and rizmorphic. I'f my jars get ruined I'll be mad!!!!!!!! ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!1 GODDAMN CONTAMINATION!!!!!!!!!

what easy to find object would have an analogous smell?
eg rotten apples.. etc..
i am interested in identifying contams by smell :smile:

...and thus concludes my dream. interpretations anyone?:wink:

What kind of smell glacius, when bacteria growth is present you might smell sour or rotten, mold has to be visible!
My pf jars smelled shroomy!

I think I might just smell the birdseed, because I did up some jars this morning, and they are giving the same smell. I hope they're alright.
