Damn cobweb
    #1199758 - 01/08/03 07:44 AM (18 years, 10 months ago)

My buddies casings were pinning like crazy as off two days ago, and then he spotted a patch of cobweb, he alcohal flamed a spoon and dug that shit out, then he sprayed the area with lysol. Will keep you updated on if it worked or if he just fucked everything up. Who knows maybe lysol can have yet another pupose in our hobby.
Peace.

h2o2 is pretty effective against cobweb, lysol will kill the myc as well and dead myc is fresh meat for contams.

edit: not saying this won't work. what I would have done is spray the cobweb with h202, dig out the patch of cobweb, spray the area again with h202. my .02

Patch, mist with peroxide/water regularly (to be safe), if it re-occurs, spoon it out, and spray with p/w

Good luck
