Few Basic Questions About Growing !

How fine does the vermiculate need to be? I bought a big bag full, but most of it isn't very fine. Also will adding a layer of perlite to the bottom of the terrarium make it humid enough?

That chunky verm works just fine. Yes, perlite is all you need.

a lot of people also add h202(hydrogen peroxide) to the water w/ the perlite.
