need help with PF's

I just read the post "pf classic casing disaster" and it got me worried. one of the posts said that pf's don't do well cased. here's my dillema. I put 1/2" damp verm on bottom of a tray and crumpled 5 1/2 pint jars over it. I let it sit for 24 hours because some of the substrate in the middle wasn't colonized. Now after reading that thread I'm concerned about what I should use for the top casing layer and where to keep rh and temp at. I was planning on casing the top with 50/50 tek (plus oyster shell, I have no lime stone). If anyone has a better idea I would like to hear it. thanks.

PF's do fine cased. And that 50/50 is a good tek.

I heard pf's have a tedancy to abort alot when cased.

PF's abort all the time, everywhere, on anything. The only strain I've grown is PF. I'm tired of all the abort's. There everywhere!! I just got some equador,koi-samui and cambonian:). I am rid of PF for the time being:). They are an easy strain to grow, but all the aborts....!!
