Careers, Jobs, Aspirations??

For lack of a better way to phrase, what does everybody do, or want to do as a career, job, etc.?

Me, I'm a film student, and hopefully am going to be a screenwriter/director someday, and an artist, poet, writer, ambassador to the UNHCR. What about You? I'm curious.

i just got a new job as a welder. it pays good and it's a good skill to have. hopefully, i can market this skill and make plenty of buXX in the longrun...shortrun too.

Always learning and volunteering.

I have started to persue music theory and choral conducting.  I have my couple lonely credits in the music department, and a government credit to save the day.  I have also contemplated teaching, I dont know as if I have the patience though.

I also like to sing, act, play, perform.  I was a drama/music geek in high school...and what can yah say?  Guess I still am.  I would like to continue this through AMDA (Academy of the Musical and Dramatic Arts)

I would love to play double bass for the rest of my life.  I have aspirations of huge hundred piece orchestras :smile:.

And last but not least, I have very high and possible aspirations of continuing the grilled cheese shoppe at pertaining festivals (Gotta keep the kids fed on da lot, bia!)!

A plethora of music aspirations control my temptations of future revelations beyond "now". The percussion, and the heart beat of my love and devotion. The rhythm goes beyond, prying into the third eye, releasing the creativity held so far inside. The melodicies, through the out of tune pianos and broken classical guitars...there lies a beauty. A beauty as prevelent as the fire inside. To release these energies is pure ecstacy, to deveop these gifts is sacred. The vocality, so pure as can be, shying away from herself, lies within me. For the underlying serenitity, this is what I live for. I plea for harmony, and nothing more. Music equals love. Creation of love leads to the procreativity of the World, and it's spirals and puddles prevailing.

I'm planning to get a PhD in neurochemistry. I was thinking about whether I wanted to go into a surgeon career or research, but I've decided that I'm gonna go into research at a non-gov't-funded facility, perhaps outside of the US. I'll see when I reach thtat time.

right now i'm a computer programmer - but i'm going to school in the fall (antropology, philosophy, economics - some mix of the three)... in terms of a "career" - well a journalist for a publication like National Geographic would be amazing. But, I think I'll end up doing work for some NGO, as well as writing independently...

Student at a state college right now... Can't stand it. Plan on leaving to get certified as an EMT back home next semester. Then on to becoming a paramedic.
