orange spots

here's a pic I also posted in the cultivation forum. These are cakes made with soy powder instead of BRF. Check out the orange spots:




There's a lso a pungent smell coming from my chamber - not offensive but a vaery rich mushroomy smell.

Its hard to tell from the pics but if its the powdery orange mold I'm used to I'd just through those jars out, like I mean keep them closed and through the whole jar out. I had some of that develop on some stuff I was working on in school in the lab and seriously since I had a plate of that in my bench locker anything I put in there no mater how many times I cleaned the bench out would get contaminated with that stuff for the next few months! the spores get everywhere and they don't seem to die either. keep an eye on it.

yup -they're on perlite, but the orange spots started while they were still in the jars - I figured it was myc piss

fuck it - I through them out, not worth taking chances - I think the smell is definitely related to the soy powder though.
