orange tinted mycelia

I had some orange tint around the last uncolonized part of my 1/2 pint jar (about
1" in diameter). The rest of the cake looks great
and it was pinning. So, I birthed it and cut the orange
spot out with a sterile scalpel. I should have taken a picture
(sorry). Next time I will.

What species? Cubensis or mexicana or other?
