Martha Stewart details.....
    #3344094 -

So, I'm thinking about the Martha Stewart deal. I'm sick of fanning and spraying, and blah blah blah.

So - from reading other posts, I've pretty much figured it out. Sealed chamber. Vicks coolmist to provide (moist) air circulation via hose. Ultrasonic humidifier enclosed to do the bulk of the humidity work. Lights on timer.

The remaining details I haven't figured out are - exhaust - coffee filtered/hole somewhere? Heat - ??????

How are you heating your Martha's, fellow shroomers? I'd love to know. The cheaper the better. Also, please no "use a Tub in Tub" or "PMP" or "fill-in-the-blank-catchy-titled-shroom-device", I'd rather a few words be said on how to actually build the heating mechanism. I'm new here, and am not familiar with all the apparati that people are using and their names.

Thanks everyone! Free mycoporn to all who assist....

One could have a couple holes in the sides of the martha and cover them with tyvek to expell CO2. I'm not sure on the heating part. Someone once told me to put a aquarium heater in my coolmist and set it to whatever temp you desire, but I never tried it. What is the temp in your grow room?

really you dont need filters on the exhaust holes as gas is costantly moving out of them just like a flow hood. Its cold in my house but matha stays at 75 on her own.

Like beejay says if you have a cool mist running all the time the positive airflow will keep contams out. Tyvek would be poor for air exchange anyway..you might as well not make a hole to begin with. Tyvek is used for gas exchange but put your face up to it and try and blow through it..not so hot for fresh air. Polyfil is best if anything but I wouldnt put anything at all. The closet will almost always be slightly warmer then room temp from what I've seen. You shouldnt need a heater if its in your house.
