Does anyone know a reliable source for catha edulis plants or viable seeds? I've been looking and the links I found on Google are dead, except for Botanic Art in the Netherlands. Does anyone have experience ordering plants from them or should I stick to seeds? Or does anyone know a domestic source (USA)?

i believe they are illegal in teh states. i always get consfused with khat/khanna/ but one of those is illegal lol. another peron will know better 
tehre are places that sell them and google shows a lot out of state places.

Khat is the illegal plant in the US.
From what I've heard seeds are only viable for about a week or two after they are picked.

Khat is illegal in usa but no one knows what it looks like so unless a grower went out and told everybody or tried to sell it, it would be their own secret. The seeds keep for much longer than a week. They can be kept in the fridge for years and still sprout. The seeds are legal, it's kind of a loophole. However, the bush administration is cracking down on a lot of things. DMT containing plant material like mh rootbark and viridis leaves are being confiscated at the border. Even totally legal items like betel nut are being confiscated. I'm sure that soon khat seeds will be confiscated and they might have started doing that already. Lucky for me I got a supply in before they cracked down on it. Those who want to trade for some viable seeds, for identification purposes only of course, send me a pm.

Bouncing Bear still sells seeds. About 5 dollars a pack. I had better get them soon before Bush outlaws everything.

Yeah, khat just looks like a shrub. I'm going to get some seeds. Bouncing Bear is out of stock, but Botanic Art is good. The Dutch send pot seeds to the US so why not khat and peyote seeds. 
I think khat and kratom are two plants I really must grow. I want to get the kratom before its illegal. A few shrubs in the backyard and about the house won't raise any eyebrows.
A few coca plants would be nice too.

I have some Catha edulis seeds but i hear they are very hard to germinate, and i've had no luck. I'd be willing to part with 10 or so, pm me if you'd like.

Hey guys,
I'm ordering seeds from Botanic Arts in the Netherlands. I will update this post when I receive the seeds, and when they germinate. Or I'll update in two weeks if I don't recieve my order.

Got my seeds from Botanic Arts today. Came in a bubble envelope with 'seeds' declared on the green customs sticker. I was hoping for a low key letter envelope with no declaration. I won't by pot seeds from here.  They look ok. I'll see if they germinate.

Bro. Botanic Arts in Holland is where I got my seeds. Right now I'm at about a 33% germination rate. I did 3 seeds per jiffy pot and have just under one successful germination per pot.
I wasn't happy with their packaging (yellow mailer with seeds declaration to customs). But I have no complaints about the viability of their seeds. Check them out:

I have had very good results from my khat seed. Naturally I wouldn't think of sprouting any in the usa but the gardeners I sent them to reported good results. Just put them about 1/8" down in potting soil, keep moist and in from 3 days to 2 weeks they should come up. I don't know why those other seeds didn't come up.

The law has no clue what they look like or what they are unless you tell someone. Keep quiet and you are fine.
I would trade a few of my khat seeds if someone was interested. Just for identification purposes of course even though they do sprout just fine.

I read that cutting is the only way to go with khat but hopefully the seeds i got grow. But what I am really interested in is kratom does anyone have any? or know where to get that? not illegal ....yet. tweaker X if u do order from over seas if i understand correctly and what i read is right, customs will just confiscate ur package and send u a letter saying it was confiscated and nothing more. Plus if it is sent in maybe just a plain envelope i would guess it has a better chance making it through and dogs what ive read again have a really hard time smelling seeds. if u never hear from me again u know what i just said is not true. LOL god i hope it is, im so very paranoid right now. I don't even want the damn shit what the hell was i thinking.
