Tryptophan
    #331232 - 06/01/01 12:14 AM (22 years, 4 months ago)

Since shroom use tryptophan to make psilocybin, I'ld like to know what a pink elephant I talk to sometimes would use in his substrate that has high levels of tryptophan. I know brown rice has lot's of tryptophan, but are there any other things this elephant might use wich has more tryptophan? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Primrose seeds are the most concentrated known botanical source of tryptophan, sunflower seeds are next in line.

I doubt that adding tryptophan to the media will increase the potency, the shroom can make and will make all the amino acids it needs. If available in the media the shroom will only take up what it needs.

Doesn't turkey have tryptophan in it? That's why it makes you tired. I think that's right...
