I think the plan is to work on a facts section so that newbies (including myself) will have a better idea of what to be looking for and what can be down about it. From what has been discussed I think it is starting to be developed. I have no idea how long it will be before it is implemented though. You would have to ask the people who are actually writing it up and the admins about that one. I know nononsense (my co-mod in this forum) is working on putting some information together...maybe he knows more and can let us all know a little bit about what the plan is.

Karen is right, I am working on gathering info including pics wich will be used 2 help y'all recognising the contams. This will be done when having little more spare time. Right now I'm really busy at work for the next week! I have gathered the written information, will seek images asap! When people send me contams, I can grow them on agar or substrate (so it's in same conditions as at your home), and photograph those contams for you guy's and girls. Right now I thrust on the expierenced growers 2 give commnt on all your questions (the whole idea of this forum) later a Contamination Faq will be added! It will be given a good place (the faq) 3DSHROOM promised me! So if you don't mind waiting for me to get things goin I would very much appreciate it! nononsense _________________________________________ I support the go.to/FreeSporeRing

that's a beautiful pic, despite the fact that you don't want that...How did you get so much contam? Not sterilize the agar?!

Heh, thanks azure, what happened with that plate was,...... above my stove there is a cabinet, underneath this cabinet is a light, where the stove fan is.... this light makes it nice and warm in the cabinet, well that plate was set inside there, and not enough books were 'between', underneath it, so the agar pretty much dried out, and turned into rubber.... after that I knew it was a goner but neglected to throw it away.... thats what happened... neglect. The white stuff IS extremely whispy mycelium, struggling to survive, you can see where it is actually growing OVER the green stuff.... it was somehow feeding off of it... I think. Anyway, I took a picture, thought maybe there would be a forum like this one someday. :) The agar was sterile though, it was the 'Entheogenesis No.442' from stainblue.com.

why? you'll never see 90% of them anyways , and if you do th MC has a great section on cont. you should be able to find it at you p.library.
