What to do with an aborted cake

Alright.. i had a whole bunch of jars and ran out of spores on the last one... it is behind the others in colonizing by about a week and my terrariums are tight on space anyways so i decided not to run this cake full cycle... i want to seperate the mycelium growth from the subsrate for consumption... i used brown rice flour and vermiculite so i dont really want to eat the vermiculite... any suggestions for seperation... i got the cake kinda crushed up in some water right now...

I wouldn't waste my time trying. Just wait til the other jars produce.
