My Latest Flame

These Equadorians grew really strange. 26 days after mixing the spawn and compost ebcause of the on and off again hot/cold day/night weather here in Seattle.

Then they pinned. I have had two flushings so far and then this shit below happened.

Well talk about screw-ups.

i loaned a friend a role of film, only asking that he replace the film. Which he did. So I loaded my camera and for 21 days I photographed my terrerium as it grew.

Well Thursday last week I took my film to be developed and then had to wait all the way until today to retrieve it from thr shop only to find out that it was in slides.

Now I have nothing against slides except they are hard to show to other people.

Usually I take good photographs and then make slides of the important and best shots from the role with my macro lens. In that way I do not need to make but onbly the ones into slides which are important.

I am pissed that my friend gave me a slide role of film.

So I went to a friends shop. He has amachine that will make one 8 x 10, or two 5 x 7's or three 4 x 6's or four 3 x 3's.

That cost seven US dollars for three four by six photos.

So I could only afford one picture.

The rest I put into a shop where they would be a dollar a print. So that role is costing me over almost 40.00 to develope. What a bunch of shit.

So anyway, here is the one image I made today for three copies for seven dollars. Not counting the 9.00 to develope the fillm and now another 35.00 for the thirty-five pictures bringing this role of film to almost $51.00 not counting tax.

Well I am really going to bitch at my friend for this one.

Besides all of this shit, my computer is dying and it takes over an hour to two hours now to connect.

Not to get too far offtopic btu I had an old monitor that was a bit defective once. The black bars around the edge of the picture would undulate and go all wavy on me, I loved it. It was like my computer was trying to trip me out.

Anyway, sexy little beautes mj. I have an EQ print in the fridge...I'm excited.

hmmm. that would be frustrating, but your friend isn't responsible for the $51.

FYI most scanners made within the past 3-4 years have the ability to scan in slides and negatives if you have the right software.

No idea, I just did a google image search for macro spider shots. My bedroom is down in the basement so I've gained some respect for the little fellas over the years.

Well Shirley, I never realized you moved threads. Not sure that I ever said I was mad at you if you had removed one. At least do not recall. Also, why a five year old thread and I am curious as to where the images went. Cannot recall what images. I m remember my camera and film trip though and I remember the person who left the slide film in the camera.

Oh well. I opened to see what the thread was.
