casing pinning cakes

Anyone know if it's ok to take a cake that has just started forming pins and use it for a casing? The pins are few and very small. Would the mycellium recover if broken up at this point?

Yes, but you need to make damn sure that you pick every pin you can see before you try it...

yeah it would be ok, but be carefull not to mess it up too bad, or it might take awhile to recover, next time either invirto or pull out early dude

Hey man ... why dont you just grow those pins out ... then .... CASE ... you'll still have enough nutrients to give you 2-4 more flushes(depending on strain/care) .. peace

I have to side w/ hatter on this. The longer you wait to case it, the more likely it'll pick up contams.
