Hey MR.Dogg the best I have seen is the sea of shrooms tek. Its great for beginners because you can break up a cake into the cups and get more out of a cake and if one gets contams you can just throw it out or treat it separately from the others rather than a whole tray go bad.I have even taken jars that were wet on the bottom and would'nt colonize all the way and cut off the wet stuff it works in this tek just fine.

Casing in my opinion is definitely the way to go. Casing produces higher yeilds, more flushes, and simulates the way mushrooms naturally grow. You can case pinning cakes, its actually preffered by some people but is not nessecary. I would say to go ahead and case the six cakes you already have in the terrarium. Trust me, you'll be happy that you cased.

I'm trying again right now and think I have it down BUT...

be sure you are very sterile when you case. I wasn't and lost a bunch of great looking Eq cakes. Most people will claim you don't need to worry about it, but better safe (and tripping) than sorry (and sober)!

Casing seems to be a miracle worker, but if you phuck it up, it's also a wonderful way to throw away fully colonized cakes!
