Put your cake some where that's is dramatically colder than your grow chamber fridge,etc....you should do this after you case

I Have good resuts in the freezer for 2 hours after casing layer is collonized.

The 'birthing' of the cake alone is a shock to it, you don't really need to 'cold shock' a cake, and I really doubt it will make any difference anyway, but I guess it wouldn't really hurt it either...
