Coldshock ?!

ive a problem :

i have a special strain, i wanna coldshock,
but i dont know which time and especially which temperature
i should provide...

my freezer is about 0?C and i would give it 12 hours,
is this right ?
Or is it too cold already ?

the last hour i searched a lot of archives and forums in the web,
but could not find a informationen, more helpfull as
"some strains profit from that - just coldshock for the night"....

coldshoking how whiskers the cat does it:
take fully colonized jar
remove from incubation
let sit for 30-90 mins, enough to cool
put @ crisper
let it crisp for 24 hours
remove and fruit

-=or=-

take form incubation
remove cake from jar
fill jar with water (or nutrient water)
put in cake fully submerged (tooth picks help)
let sit 24 hrs @ crisper
remove and fruit

enjoy!

so you mean i should coldshock before making a casing/putting a casinglayer on top ?

also i can give 32?F or 52?F, which do you mean is better or what is "perfect" ?

I think he means put a toothpick in the very top of the cake. It seems to me that the cakes float in water (I haven't done it but it seems like that from what I've read) so if you put a toothpick on the top side of the cake, it would hit the lid of the jar and act like a pole to keep in underwater . . . sounds like a very good idea to me.

it sounds like he's crazy. put the jar with the cake inside, before you ever open it, in the fridge.
