A Perfect Circle - Emotive
    #3268494 -

Anyone heard this yet? I listend to it today- it's some dark stuff. Only APC
can turn John Lennon's 'Imagine' into something depressing!

On the whole, I think what they've done is really clever, taken the songs and
made them their own. 'When the Levee Breaks' is a highlight too, barely
recognisable from the Led Zep. 'Fiddle and the Drum' is pretty cool too,
really tight harmonies- reminds me of the end of Pink Floyd's 'The Wall'

I just can't believe they made this album- you have to remind yourself you're
listening to the same guy from Tool. It's a strange one, that's for certain.

Any thoughts?

I was really looking forward to it, but it wasn't nearly as impresive as I thought it was going to be. After hearing "Imagine" I thought the rest of the album was going to be great too.

i don't know. i listened to it all last night and some stuff was pretty cool, other stuff wasn't as good. i'll have to listen to more so it has a chance to grow on me and then see what happens.

The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity. ~ Albert Einstein
