At first, I thought it was just okay, but on my second listen through, I'm much more impressed. I usually have to listen to an APC album a few times before I really start to enjoy it. This one's no different

Yeah. Listen to it again. The album is Maynards best vocals (not lyrics) yet. He really gets out there and tries new things. The music is so eclectic as well (for APC).
Billy Howerdel sings on half the album as well.
eMOTIVe is VERY good.

you guys only like this shit because of Maynard's resume. with an exception to a couple of songs, this album's material sounds as if though the songs are not finished. I believe the album was rushed in order to be completed and sold in stores by Nov. 2. also, I don't like the fact that they add "filler" songs in order to sell it as a complete album.
More than half of these songs on the album are the type of songs that will be a hidden track or b-sides on albums. releasing albums like this is destroying Maynard's reputation as an artist. the concept of this album would have been stronger if they would have released these songs as mp3s on their website for free insteading of milking the cash cow. its funny how maynards uses the peace, love and understanding as a gimmick in order to make a quick buck-"gimmie gimmie gimmie". he only feeds fuel into the fire.
Why makes songs about changing the world in vain for profit?

All the songs are full songs... 10 of them are COVERS... i dont think you get that. this is a cover album.... youre calling all these great artist's songs "fillers"? i dont think depeshe mode and elvis costello would like that. thats cold
