I think mine might just be the Shaolin Kung Fu class I just signed up for to fulfill a wellness requirement

heh, well in high school for one of my 1/2 credit classes i took astronomy. well 3rd day of the quarter the teacher get cancer or some shit and leaves for the rest of the year. the substitute that replaced her was very nervous and didn't want any of the students to not like her (and she was kinda cute i might add), so the entire semester all we did was watch movies. it was first hour so i was always really stoned or slept. my favorite high school class.

An environmental science class about global warming, learned so much and had 2 amazing professors collaborate. one prof was a climatologist pretty well recognized in the science world, the other woman was a policy/ethics based woman, which added a nice flavor...

That's cool, Psily. Classes where the professors excel in the relevant field are always the best. Likewise, I hate classes with professors who don't know what they're doing. It's such a waste of money. Sadly, I have no weed, or I would smoke a bowl and groove out. Ahh well, I'll just listen to quiet sad music and contemplate instead.

I had to build a tunable dye laser for a physics assignment, which is not as hard as it sounds if you're given the proper equipment, but it was very cool nonetheless to work in semi-darkness among strobing yellow green and orange laser beams emanating from a handfull of stuff you've arranged on an optical bench. Reminded me a lot of the film Real Genius.
Coolest class ever. (If you're a closet geek like me)

The Psychology of Death and Dying. The professor was really awesome, and made the subject matter even more fascinating. The class covered near-death experiences, the different stages of grief, the hospice movement, euthanasia, and what he called the "ooie ooie stuff"(OBEs, auras, etc.).

actually now that i'm back at school i'm taking a series of 3 classes together which are combined which rock...
experimental interactions, a jitter/maxmsp workshop and electrocontrollers and stamps. from this, i can learn how to make interactive installations i.e. using a camera to record a person's movement and depending on the speed of the movement, different sounds will be reproduced. one example that i could think of which uses this is the itoy cam and this game where you punch little chinamen

Human ecology, it's a real eye-opener. Among other things it has renewed my interest in hallucinogens as a way of sustaining a healthy relationship with the earth (was covered under eco-semiotics and fenomenological environmental anthropology). Drinking bowls of kava with university professors is always cool as well, we had a kava cermony at the department

I took a great summer mycology class where we got to stay in cabins by a lake. All we did for four weeks was collect mushrooms from the surrounding areas and try to identify them under the leading mycological expert of the region! Fun times
I've also taken some great botany classes, and a computer animation class where every third day was movie day, where we would go to class just to watch a movie, popcorn included

I took a marine biology class in high school. It was awesome, we went on so many trips. We hung out at Sandy Hook (local beach) for a day, collecting information on native spieces. My teacher was nuts (but awesome), he grew up on the beach and was very vocal about changes being made to the waterfront. He took some horseshoe crabs back to the class to study them, and actually got busted for taking them off the beach. Great times in that class.

Film Studies, taking it now, it's great.
Watch movies, write essays about them.

Yeah, my high school creative writing class was a blast.
It was right after lunch, last period of the day. One of the few classes that was seriously enhanced by pot. Fun times.
