Blue-Green Mold, No Recovery Possible
    #3255013 - 10/20/04 06:59 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

After a good two weeks of growing, I finally checked out my MycoBags which were about 3/4ths of the way colonized with Blue-Green mold. I went ahead and dumped the bags, they had no mycelium growing in them at all so they were no longer of any use to me.

What are the most effective ways of fighting a blue-green mold infection once it has already begun, if any?

Fighting contamination still inside the jars/bags before 100% mycelium colonization is very hard to accomplish. Good results are rare.
The best way is prevention.
