Ok, I finally started channeling shit or something i donno

After i meditated for a while outside, i decided i needed sleep....so i walk in my house (in the dark) and saw everything in pure darkness....wtf? (Im thinking it has to do with focus)

Then I got to my room, went to bed and just layed there.....after a while i started to hear hundreds of voices (im not hallucinating this cuz im not the one creating them) i couldnt really make anything out, but it was just alot of people talking at once...

anyone know what this is?

the collective conscious/unconscious of the world, or at least, the people nearest to you.

Lack of or too much dark adaptation?
I dunno...

Has anything like this ever happened to you in bright daylight while you were awake and oriented?  :wink:

no really... everything is inside of you, and you and your thoughts are being created just like these people and there thoughts, all shooting around this web, the world brain (thats what i call it because thats how i see it).

try some experiments.

ALSO:

in regards to your seeing in the dark, its probably due to you having your eyes closed while meditating and your pupils dilating to the size of saucers.

you regulated the light by letting more and even more light than when light, so you could se the little light presant (maby in your mind even :P ) as almost litt, "eyes lie more than humans" - unknown :P

and about the voices. either you tapped in on the loacal phone line :P or heard the thougth of your many selfvs? haha

Actually, yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about Whiterussian. I experience this nearly every night as I drift off to sleep. It seems to happen during what is known as as the hypnogogic state. To me it sounds like I am in a room with hundreds of people all talking at once. Usually a few voices will be louder than the others. The things being said tend to be almost random and meaningless but very loud and distinct...entirely different from my own internal 'thinking voice'. I have also pegged it as the 'collective unconscious'.

In my experience, I can tap into original music playing during this state. Music that seems to come from beyond myself but to which I have a level of conscious control...I can change it like a rythym program or something. Very cool!

Ohhh. I think I know what you're talking about, the subconscious voices between the awake and hypnagogic stages.

I accredit these to the combined singular internal voice you hear.

They are all merged together, almost like a poll, in order to create the mutual dinstinct thoughts one associates as their own.

Atleast, that's my take on it.

Usually there's one distinct voice, and a wise one at that. If you can remember anything 'it' says, write it down, you'd be amazed at some of the stuff it can tell you :smile:

Yeah I know what you guys are talking about, but I was completely wide awake.........I know its not hallucinations before an OBE (i can tell the difference).

Source: The music your talking about, yeah ive had that before, its really interesting to create music as im listening to it.

But this was not hypnogogic state, cuz i was wide awake watching tv :smile:

I'll try it again tonight, see what else happends.

I actually get this too. Sometimes I hear very loud (in my head) yelling or talking. Its sometimes scary but it's not as though its somehting evil. I can never make it out but its definitly not my thinking voice.

Also, sometimes I get this weird thing when I'm lying on my back (or it starts when i lie on my back but then continues when in any position). But its like the room is spinning extremely fast and I feel like im going to spin right off the bed and at times I can ignore it but sometimes its just too much. When I open my eyes I cant focus on anything and it appeasr as though the room is spinning even with my eyes open.

Its hard to picture its like my left side and right side are moving up and down at different times creating the illusion that im spinning.

When you were wide awake?! Wow! You know the transitions between states of consciousness is pretty fuzzy, I wonder if you could have been having hypnagogic auditory halucinations in a waking state? That could be good for creativity and intuition. For those who believe in psychic stuff, some say these powers (if they exist) come from this hypnagogic state - so to be able to access it in a waking state could be bueno!
