 Shrooms while sick?

I am just curious if anyone has ever tried shrooms while sick with a cold or flu or something. I am thinking it would suck but then again you might forget that you are sick... I don't know. Anyone ever tried this?

When i started, I didn't care if I was sick or not. Only thing that matter was "do I have to wake up tomorrow morning?" Trip I think is fine, but you feel it and pay for it afterwards. It feels like you were miraculously cured, but afterglow turns into hell. It's like feeling your body is rotting away. Then you have to baby that cold/flu for a long time. It was good reason to miss class, though.

bleh.. being sick right now it sounds like a bad idea. could get very very uncomfortable. especially if you're congested. can't imagine feeling like I can't breathe on a trip. or, not breathing through my mouth and perhaps actually suffocating, haha.
just felt like posting because of the cold I have. It's strange how even though when you're not sick, you know that it sucks. But you really can't grasp how shitty it feels, even for mild things. Sort of like with tripping you can remember the trip, but you don't get that familliar feeling back until you do it again.

I would wait until you're better. I guess you're not in a real hurry so a few days of extra waiting wouldn't hurt

i am sick right now, and shrooms just came my way once more... but i am waiting till i feel better. i do not want the physical sypmtoms of my sickness creeping into my trip and effecting me. i would just hold off till you feel 100%, and then have at it. besides it gives you time to prep mentaly and physicaly for the trip, something i have to do myself.

Not to knock the boat, but.... I had a LIGHT cold once, and was in a chipper mood, so I did some shroomz.... All of the symptoms of the cold went away for the time I was trippin.... I don't remember it being really bad when I got grounded, but I just had a light cold to begin with.... I was pretty surprised to have had this "non-sick" effect for at least a little while...!

A friend of mine who tripped once while having a cold said that it cleared up his congestion right away...could be a coincidence or maybe there's something to it...
