...and thank you members for being so patient and understanding when stuff randomly started breaking!

The folder icons are the ones that came stock with the BB software, they were 'good enough' that I didn't bother redoing them but I don't have a special bond with them either. What do you have in mind as a replacement? Like are you completely against folders, or do you just not like these particular folder graphics? I was considering using little mushrooms, but I'm a little worried they might get confusing with the mushroom post icons. I'm not sure though. We are a mushroom site, I guess we're allowed to have a lot of mushroom graphics.

Anyway I'd be interested to hear some suggestions.

If you think we already have way too many mushrooms, a dot might work ... Some simple graphic :shrug:

I don't think any kind of graphic is necessary for it. Couldn't it just be like before, where active threads are hilighted? If we are going to use some sort of graphic, then yes, I would prefer something like a mushroom, or even just a simple dot.

I think some stylesheet's don't have highlighting for new threads.

Yes, aje is correct although it is possible for us to add highlighting by modifying the stylesheets. A little more work, but if people really prefer it then that is an option.

I also mocked up a few possible new post icons just to get an idea of what people might like. I know they're not great but I didn't want to spend a lot of time working on them just to throw them out. I was just wondering if you think I'm on the right track with any of these:

I think the arrows are cool. As are the Star and Moon icons.
