I let my tap water set 48 hr's.Good to go after that.What can I say,stoned one night, picked up the wrong bottle.

Well.. that depends on your definition of "good". Technically, all tap water has dissolved minerals in it.
Now, whether that is a bad thing or not is the real question. My guess is most likely "not", since fungi need nutrients, too.. although I'm not exactly clear on how they obtain them.
"Spring" water is just glorified tap water, it will have dissolved salts in it too. Distilled or Reverse Osmosis water should be basically pure H2O and have a neutral pH of 7.0.
On the other hand, there is no guarentee that distilled or spring water is sterile, and boiling should more or less guarentee that.
