Sounds like you handled the situation well. Watch out for molds (cobweb and friends) on the surface of your jiffy+ casing. The "+" implies that there's nutrients/fertilizer in the mix, so it'll be a little more active (microbially speaking).

I'm not sure what happened to your pic. Maybe you don't have 'Markup' enable in your profile -or- perhaps you have to put the 'http://' in the URL..

It's hard to tell much from the pic. You can cover it w/ some plastic wrap or foil to keep moisture in. Also, not sure what temp it's at, but you can leave it at the incubation temp (85 deg or so) until the mycelia is breaking through the surface in a few spots. Then move it to your fruiting chamber.

Also, baking tins work well for casings since they block light. With a clear container like that you'll get pins everywhere. Shrooms on the bottom are difficult to harvest and increase the potential for contams.

Live & learn. Hopefully the casing will last for 6-10 flushes and you'll get some good experience managing it.

Yeah, looks good. You might want to wrap the sides, up to the top of the casing layer, with duct tape.
