As long as the water hasn?t flooded the casing, it shouldn?t do any harm. Can?t you pour the water out, though?

i figure that all that water is bad for the casing. hopefully its verm only, a big wet spot can favopur contams moving in. do what you can now to remove the water and be clean as you can. it probably has absorbed enough for a few days without any additional water.
