Humidity with perlite.. too low?
    #317227 - 05/14/01 05:48 PM (24 years, 9 days ago)

Hello
I know I've been askin a lot of questions lately.. but I'm just going to keep asking :p
I have some cambodians in my terrarium, and the humidity is 82/ temp is 72. I was wondering if I'd get better results if the humidity were higher... I've heard cammy's like humidity.
Thanks

cammys love rH alright most shrooms do. if you arent misting then you should do so, you should also mist the walls of your terrarium after fanning to help bring the humidity up.

I use perlite and get 90+% Humidity. Maybe you should try adding more water to perlite or somehow giving the perlite more surface area with the air. Or buy a finer perlite.

I have NEVER misted and get above average results

No, i used to deliver meat at a butcher shop.. (i was featured in natural born killers...)
I have cakes, But i think my prob is that i have 9 in a 3x2 container. Many are starting to pin now, but i think i'll mist. Thanks for the input
