Other ethnobotanicals with a pronounced effect?
    #3138667 - 09/15/04 02:40 PM (12 years, 2 months ago)

Hi, I was just curious as to what ethnos out there produce an obvious effect?  The ones I know of are:
Salvia
Ayahuasca
Kratom Powder
Kava Kava extract

But what else?  I have tried a few different ones, to many to list, that didnt really do a damn thing.  Any help here is very appreciated,

Peace  :rasta:

It depends on the person as well as the plant. Some people just aren't affected by some plants very much.

The obvious ones that you've missed are sceletium and mescaline-bearing cacti, also delosperma bosseranum is becoming more popular, khat, heimia, nicotiana rustica, HBWR....

There are many more, but like you have found out, some are very subtle, or even totally ineffective if not done right.

Anyone ever tried Yopo (Anadenanthera colubrina or peregrina) seeds?

(5-meo-DMT, Bufotenin, DMT)

There are hundreds if not thousands of plants that produce obvious effects. Erowid or the lycaeum are good places to start.
