Ugh sick

Ah well it happened.
Yesterday morning, Friday morning, I wake up with a mild nuisance in my throat. Not really a full blown sore throat, but just something noticeable and annoying.

So throughout the day I go on, not really paying much attention to it. Go to sleep last night hoping it wont be back in the morning.

But I woke up this morning and its back. Not so bad, really, just pretty annoying and not too painful. Ive been on a strict regiment of Echinecea, Vitamen C, and Ibeprofen for the past 2 days, hoping it takes some strain off the situation.

Anyways, anybody have any herbal remedies for a sore throat? I was just about to make some green tea, because it seems like any tea usually helps. Actually, I have the choice between green tea and Yerba Mate.

Ugh, sickness sucks. Especially on a weekend.

I am just getting over a cold I had. I missed a day of back breaking labor at $10 an hour.

That pisses me off the most. Besides missing work, I'm fine.

I think the Autumn season change is starting to set it and people are extra easily infected at this point in time.

Definitely has to do with the season. I'm hoping that its just allergies, but I doubt it at this point. Now I'm hoping its just the common cold.

If it's not gone by Monday morning I think I'll take the day off work and head to the doctors office. If its strep or anything that needs antibiotics, I might as well get it treated as soon as possible.

I used to drink mint tea with honey and lemon, It worked great! I hope you feel better!  :heart:

Hope you get well soon!  Just gettin over some kind of chest virus, what a bitch.  I think it's hard to beat Lemsip for hot soothing drinks.  Not very herbal, I'm afraid..... :pill2: :coffee: :shrug:
