All of the above replies are good advice
goldenseal especially. that echinacea tea is good. keep drinking it.

take the juice from one lemon and mix it with a glass of water. chug. or just mix in with your tea.
repeat 2x a day. lemon juice kills anything. eat like 5 oranges a day.

Cayenne pepper is one of the most powerful herbal stimulants. It also acts as a catalyst for other herbs, aids digestion, and increases blood circulation instantly. Combined with lemon juice and goldenseal.. you have a very powerful and effective infection-fighting formula. Don't forget to drink plenty of water.

the best way to do this would be to just make a drink concoction and chug it down in the morning>> water, lemon juice, cayenne pepper, honey (raw if possible) Take the goldenseal either as a tincture or in pills.. either way.

goldenseal and cayenne are an amazing healing combination

Quote:

Cayenne is the greatest blood circulation stimulant known. You can take all the milk thistle you want, but if you have bad circulation to your liver, it's not going to do you any good. Cayenne increases your blood circulation immediately within seconds, more than any other herb.

When you have a sick area, there's often a restriction of blood flow to that area. Blood flow is what takes nutrition and the healing properties of herbs to those cells. Blood flow is also what carries out and removes waste material. Cayenne pepper is like TNT. It blasts through all that blockage to get to that area which is sick, taking with it all the minerals and vitamins from the foods you eat, and all the vital chemicals from the herbs you take - all the way to the sick area.

Quote:

A fresh cayenne chili pepper is nutrient rich and contains: Water, Carbohydrate, Starch, Protein, Fiber, Vitamin C, Capsaicinoids, Beta Carotene, Iron, Phosphorus, and Calcium. Chili Peppers are also low in fat and contain the right kind of fat: 66% of the fat as linoleic and 5% as linolenic acid which are two essential fats in the diet of humans.

The variety of colors found in chili peppers contain thousands of bioflavinoids and carotenoids which may be responsible for the healing properties of cayenne and they heal heart cells and protect your heart. There are vitamins in cayenne that will destroy bacteria and enhance your immune system. There is also no other herb that will increase your blood flow faster than cayenne.

According to Dr. Richard Schulze, an internationally recognized herbalist, ?there is no other herb stronger or more effective than cayenne to make immediate physiological and metabolic changes in the body.?

Capsaicin, has been proven to protect your DNA and cells from attack by toxic molecules such as from tobacco, and other toxins. They can also prevent cancer by inhibiting the transformation of cells which eventually form cancer.

The following are just some of the conditions which cayenne may be used to treat: stops bleeding (internally or externally), allergies, arthritis, asthma, blood circulation problems, congestive heart failure, cancer prevention, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, stroke, obesity, osteoarthritis, colds and flus, constipation, hemorrhoids, and diabetes.

However, it is not just a matter of using Cayenne. The quality of the cayenne is extremely important. One of the best sources for purchasing cayenne tincture and cayenne powder is from The American Botanical Pharmacy at 1-800-437-2362.

Goldenseal works wonders in combination with Echinacea particularly at the onset of cold and flu symptoms, especially coughs and sore throats. Goldenseal, Echinacea and Zinc lozenges should be in every medicine cabinet.

Goldenseal is a cure-all type of herb that strengthens the immune system, acts as an antibiotic, has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, potentiates insulin, and cleanses vital organs. It promotes the functioning capacity of the heart, the lymphatic and respiratory system, the liver, the spleen, the pancreas, and the colon.

Taken internally, Goldenseal increases digestive secretions, astringes the mucous membranes that line the gut, and checks inflammation. It also aids digestion by promoting the production of saliva, bile, and other digestive enzymes. In addition it may control heavy menstrual and postpartum bleeding by means of its astringent action.

As a dilute infusion, Goldenseal can be used as an eyewash and as a mouthwash for gum disease, and canker sores. It is also an effective wash or douche for yeast infections. External applications have been used in the treatment of skin disorders such as psoriasis, eczema, athlete's foot, herpes, and ringworm.

you'll be healthy in no time. eat good foods... feel better

you might be bruising easily if you are taking aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen etc

to avoid: WASH YOUR HANDS, avoid door handles, railings in public areas. dont touch your mouth or eyes before washing hands. esp this winter as the flu heading this way may be a bad strain

I just got better from a nasty cold. If your throat is really sore the doctor might give u these pain killer/cough suppresant pills like I got. I was coughing so much I was throwing up, those pills really helped, I also felt better mentally of course.

Man I have a cold too. Had it all weekend it was horrible. Sinus pressure and sore throat, coughing like a mother fucker. My right ear got the worst of it though, I had to stuff it with cotton balls and it still hurt like hell.

Feeling quite a bit better tonight, but god I hate colds.

DEVELOP A CURE YOU BASTARDS.

My method for getting better when sick is:

Take double doses of everything in the medicine cabinet and then sleep for 2 days

It usually works, but at the same time can be very dangerous

Btw, my medicine cabinet really only contains klonopin...
so I don't suggest my method

See my signature for more advice

Hope you feel better Gillette, the best a man can get.
