    #310446 - 05/06/01 10:08 AM (24 years, 1 month ago)

If im going from 1/2 pint jars of verm/brf to casing, do i have to wait a week after the jars appear to be fullycolonized before casing them?

ThankYou, No offense taken. Just didnt want anyone thinking im trying to be someone else.Thanx for the tip. It seems as though there are mixed emotions about waiting. I really didnt see a reason to beacause all i'm gonna do is slice some and crumble some and wait for recolonization. Is it a contam. thing? If so i'll wait i dont want to take a chance at this point in the game.

well I had 2 cakes colonize in 10 days took them out of jars on the 12th day and both have contaminated, I would sugest leaving them inthere for at least 21 days. I don't care what anybody says..people get in tooo big a hurry

You can case them with straight verm as soon as their a 100% colonized. It works great with pf cakes.
