Pan Cyan question

A friend innoculated 5 pan cyan jars two weeks ago and still sees no sign of life. He is wondering if maybe he got a bad syringe. He is fairly experienced and the 5 pf jars he did at the same time that night are doing great so I don't think the problem is at his end. This is his first experience with pans though. He is wondering if the germination is really this slow or should he be contacting somebody about a bad syringe. Any comments from you guys would be great.

In my opinion, if there really is NO growth what so ever, your syringe was bad.

They were prepared classic pf style brf substrate cakes in 1/2 pint jars.
