I know this isn't the place to ask this question and if has to get moved then you guys can but Iam asking to in the pub instead of another forum is b/c i can trust you guys

so here is my question i need to know what is bad about dust off ( the piano cleaner shit) and huffing it and should i be concerned if a week ago my friend had 10 of them and the intent to do them all

what does it do to you that is bad

Q: What is computer duster, exactly? I've heard that it's NO2 and that it's Oxygen. Are there any places that show FACTS about it? (Most places just tell the story about the 4 girls in the car crash)

A: Computer duster is not Oxygen or Nitrous oxide. It is usually a fluorenated low weight hydrocarbon, such as tetrafluorethane, chlorodiflouromethane or another similar gas. What they're looking for is a material which is a liquid when pressurized (at room temperature) but which is a gas when not pressurized. Because it is not intended for human consumption, there is no consistency to what is used by different companies, as long as the gas pressurizes in a cannister well enough to create the blowing effect that the product is sold for.

Just as with nitrous/"whippets", if you breathe something like computer duster straight, you are both depriving yourself of oxygen and exposing yourself to the chemical. This can increase the high, but also greatly increases the risk of physical damage. While (medical grade) nitrous has been tested and approved for use in humans, the components in computer duster have not, and especially not for repetitive use. Both research and Anecdotal evidence suggest that repetitive use can cause brain and other neurological damage.
