Hurricane is gonna hit me :(

I am suppose to get hit by the eye of Hurricane Florence. Which means 140 mph winds and a bunch of tornadoes. So another words I am fucked! I probably won't be on here for a good couple weeks if the power goes out and my house gets destryoed. Atleast there will be plenty of shrooms after the storm :smile:

Hell yea! I'm in Miami too. Pretty fuckin excited over this whole hurricane thing. I felt a lil cheated when Charlie hit up pompano and naples and orlando... But no way this one is gonna miss!

I feel like I might be coming off as insensitive, cause people did die, and lives are ruined and whatnot... And all that sucks. But I can't help but feel a lil excited.

I wish you the best of luck with this hurricane btw, and sincerely hope minimal damage is done to people.

I gotta board a ship in Miami on Sunday.  I been trying all week to get Frances to take a hard right.  But, as I thought, I have no influence on the weather. :smirk:

I live inland near West Palm Beach. Hopefully it won't hit me directly and I'll just get the outer bands of the storms. The rain has already started here and the powers gone out a few times.

Im about to head out and smoke alot of marijuana to prepapre myslef for the storm lol.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

I'm in Tampa and concerned about it crossing land and still packing a punch by the time it would get here. What the fuck are ya gonna do but prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Yea, they are exciting up to about 90 mph wind speeds. Find your ass in sustained over 140 with gusts well into the 200's and excitment turns into quiet prayer that you come out alive. It's soooo loud. When it quiets down and you find you are safe, you think, hey, I made it through and feel a sigh of relief. Then you walk out your door and see the definition of FUCKED UP!

There is no where for the eye to take a rest from total destruction. You become concerned if others are okay and you start searching. You can't call your friends to see if they are okay cuz the phones are out, you may not have a car as you left it to go check up on them in and if you do, the roads are blocked with downed power lines, trees, roofs and debris. Shock sets in and everything becomes surreal.

Your world as you knew it is GONE. Anger can set in and there is no one to blame, no one to make accountable and no answers for the question why? as tears pour down your face. As you realise how many people are dead around you, you take relief again in realising you are alive, you are one of the lucky ones. Life does go on for you and it'll be never be the same again if you experience the eye of a Cat 4 storm.

3 days from now, tens or hundreds of 1,000s will be experiencing what I just wrote about and there is nothing we can do to stop it.

Fellow floridians, if your ass in the path and in a prefab home or trailer, GET out of it! These things are not a joke. Be smart, be safe, and make sure your ass is back on line to let everyone know your allright when it's over and the phones and power is back on.  :cheers:

My bets on the Daytona area- I think Miami will miss it. If I lived on the east coast with a Cat 4 coming I would get in my car and go west and ride it out in a hotel.
