I found that natural things in nature are very comforting and relaxing. Maybe its because organic looking things are easier to look at when tripping and seem more normal. <--if that makes any since to you

I was having a hard time indoors the last time, till I walk outside and looked at the night sky. All my troubles just went away, it just is very peaceful I think.

for me its a comfort zone. cities and human type stuff often have bad vibes. people are dangerous, freaky things when tripping (some i mean). nature has been with us since we sprouted, its our roots.
plus there is just so much more to look at in a forest than a city. i get tired of cars, concrete, sky cubes and that type of shit. i go buy stuff and leave, nature i go purely for enjoyment.

Fresh air is so nice. The openness of nature is relaxing. The beauty of nature is so greatly enhanced on shrooms. It's a break from the mundane cityscape all around us.
That covers all my reasons

There are so many cool and different things in nature like trees, animals, lakes, fires etc to experience. Everything just looks so intense and it really helps you understand the beauty of nature.

The mushrooms come from nature, that is their element. I believe that they are a messenger of the Earth, and they give us eyes for seeing things in the way that they see things. We are more receptive to their message when surrounded by nature. We see the absolute reality of the plant world and gain respect; when we see nature through the eyes of the mushrooms, it creates the realization in us that we are of the same stuff. That works to the mushrooms advantage, and ours, as it promotes the welfare of all species. They're here to save us and themselves!

Not to rip off T McKenna's manner of speaking or anything but: Nature isn't just more beautiful, intricate and perfectly balanced than most people suppose. It's more beautiful, intricate and perfectly balanced than we as a species *CAN* suppose. Thus, the perfectly bewildering enviroment for a trip. ...Assuming no one gets mauled by a bear or anything. i love tripping in nature.. nothing beats it.. the heart of nature beats at a varied pace from the rest of the world. The sun radiates into every living being and everything seems so alive and well.. Everywhere you look you see our origin. The plants and trees, the animals all merge into one and you feel totally at home. Concrete jungles seem so foriegn to me when i trip.. there is nothing cold and distant about them. When you are in nature you are able to escape the rigours of everyday existance and escape "the game" for awhile. the sound of the birds chirping, bees buzzing.. The clouds moving slowly overhead.. its just beautiful..

magic mushrooms are something natural so it makes sense to do them in a natural setting,

I think it's because mushrooms bring out our inner nature, which is best accompanied by outer nature. It is a catalyst for deprogramming us from this artificial society we have created, and thus it is best suited for outside of that society. Also, you're less likely to run into other people in nature.

my personal opinion.
your trip manifests itself from the subtle vibrations around you that you dont normally pick up, and slowly magnify themselves in your brain once your in the loop and shoot of random fractal patterns of thoughts, colors and sounds.
when you are in nature, the vibrations you receive are the natural harmonics of the earth, which are quite lovely, and pattern out nicely. but when you are surrounded by walls, and television and other technologies of mankind, the vibrations dont necisarily fit together in any particular way, causing more abrupt changes in thought, faster and more violently. the fractal pattern of thoughts becomes more chaotic than beautifull.
love nature. man wasnt meant to be enclosed.

Nature is extremely beautiful. Extremely! Everyone knows that..but while on mushrooms, my god! Not only are the details and the macro to micro patterns more clear, but you start to see it in ways that you normally can not. You'll see that it is all dancing, clearly alive..flowing with the universal life force and existing in the most scacred way. One becomes awed by the immensity of the beauty and aliveness of nature, the extreme intellect behind all of the organization. And then you remember that this is where you came from, that you are a product of the same moving life force that created everything you see... Tripping in nature makes you think harder and more correctly than you would be sitting in your room.

thats why.
although i love the above quote, ill still add my 2 cents. Every living thing is a part of god, and radiating his love constantly(like we're SUPPOSED to be doing, eh hem!), and when you are in nature, especially on shrooms, you can feel the love coming from all the life around you, THAT IS GOD, you can feel "him" "her" "it"(dont matter what you define god as, it is irrelevant to do so). and it swells u up with soooo much love. and love is truth, so the more love you feel the more truth that is going to surface from within.
simply put, we are drawn to the love that is in all living things.
all there is, is love. everything else is just reaching out for it.
whether you realize it or not, doesnt matter. love is what you are, so it is what you are drawn to, DIVINELY.

Natural thngs seem to make sense when tripping. They seem simple and safe.
Note: Make sure all tripping in nature is done away from dangerous or populated areas. Mother nature can be quite unforgiving.
