Mom gave $12,000 to the thrift shop

Were moving to a new house, and my mom told me to put everything I wanted to save in boxes, and throw the rest away, so I did. Since the house was bare, I hid my money that I've collected over the past 3 years in a box filled with board games. I come home and notice the box is GONE! I ask what she did with it and she said she donated the games to the thrift shop!

I immediatly ran to the store and asked where the donations were that were picked up at that time, they said that the driver had left for the day, and that all the stuff was still in the truck.

So tomorrow I have to go there at 7am and watch the driver unload the stuff, so as to make sure he doesn't snag it for himself. So all hope is not lost yet

yea, safes are obvious, that's why you get one, and DONT keep your valuables in it, keep newspaper and some change. so they steal your safe, and not your hollowed out stuffed animal on the wall. :wink:
