Grateful Dead covering The Beatles (mp3s)

You Pubbers are well known for loving The Dead. I'm gradually loving them more and more each day as well, but may never love them as much as The Beatles.

Below, I have some Dead tracks. All of them are Beatles covers. I will also be adding more as I get them. I don't know when or where they were recorded. Maybe you guys can figure it out by listening to it. Discuss...........

I'm the same, took me a while to get into the Dead but it happened gradually with the drugs... now I can't get enough (of both). But them singing Beatles songs always makes my day.

PS Have you got Lucy in the Sky cover? (found it in bearshare)

Strawberry fields is Warren singing......I'll let you know about the rest.

it seems that most if not all are post Jerry.

The Dead covered at least 10-15 Beatles songs when Jerry was alive.

there's a "Hey Jude" from 68 or something on one of the Shroomery Pics...

Also there is a Phish show from sometime in the 90s where they play the White Album all the way through....

Beatles covers are good shit!

Blackbird is being sung and played on acoustic by Bobby Ace, and was most likely form last year.

whoh.......Why Don't we do it in the Road....has Jerry on guitar and Brent singing back up.....but I can't place the date!

they played this song 7 times between 6-24-87 and 3-30-86 but I can't place the lead vocals!
