Pereskiopsis leaf structure Q
    #3048484 - 08/25/04 12:20 PM (19 years, 7 months ago)

I have two Pereskiopsis plants and both came with small 1-2cm long leaves that were almost round and thick. I now have them under 2 2' floros about 1' away and ther growing large 4-6 cm leaves that are only 2 cm wide and thin. I was wondering what can i do to make them thicker environment wise?

I have mine outside under the sun except for cuttings I'm rooting inside. They seem to like a lot of light, plenty of water and nutes. Sounds like the floros are working for you.

I just looked at some of my indoor plants and some have short fat leaves and some have long thin ones or both.
