First day of college...but ...

I had my first day of college today. It was okay, but ever since I got home, all I feel like doing is crying and/or yelling at people, and I don't know why. I feel so strung out. I'm guessing it's because I've been stressing out about going to college for so long and now that I'm actually going, it's just weird.

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

Yeah you'll get in the swing of things very soon and then you'll start enjoying it. Remember, the first days are the hardest days.

the weird part about college is that you think about it so much you imagine how it's gonna be... but the truth is you just don't know at all, and it's so different than you thought.  and i think everyone's experience is different.

Now that the "big day" has come and gone, I just sort of feel...empty.  :confused:

I plan on working really hard in college, but today has been pretty confusing.

Wow, that's exactly how I feel. Everyone in my family has been making such a huge deal about college, like it's "the experience," and then I go, and it's not a big deal at all, just an experience like any other. So I guess earlier I was feeling a bit let down or something.

I had my first day of CEGEP today. It is similar to college, but not quite. It preceeds university. It was really awesome, I'm in communications. I'm gonna do television, radio, litterature... All kind of nice stuff.

I can also go jam to the music locals anytime I want.

And the population of the CEGEP consists of 90% girls and 10% boys :laugh: yay!!!!!!

yep!! that's the ego!! that's how I flet going into high school, cause everyone made a big deal about it which I now think was quite funny.

whats even funnier is the friends I hang around still talk about high school, a lot. hehe

yeh chill out and give it time, you'll find people you like, my first week was highly depressing orientation week, but then i realized that the people i chilled with enjoyed the various illegal acitvities that i do, and ive been friends with them ever since.

today was the first day of community college for me (well except the semester after high school) i felt a little old but its pretty cool. I felt like i walked into a gap commercial today.

60 girls in my bio class and not a single one i wouldn't bone, aww school is fun.
