Looks like that dreaded PF strain.

I hope your not interested in a second flush :cool:

I think that PF strain is not made for casings.

not really a fair comparison,
a quart of seed is alot of substrate,
roughly equal to a dozen pf cakes,
and a dozen pf cakes would give about as much or perhaps even a little more.

Who speaked of a fair comparison?
I just wanted to point out that GT or any strain other than PF is better when doing casings.
And, you?re right, the amount of nutrients is roughly tenfold as oposed to one PF cake. But the work involved isn?t.

As I said, you have to isolate a pure strain which will flush uniformly at the same time.
Then you have to use something different than cakes for substrate.. Either rye, or birdseed, straw opr compost.
50/50+ casing.
