You can just treat them like any other cake when top fruiting from a jar, top em off with coir/cv/verm/whatever and stick them in a chamber of your choosing! I'm using an ez dial with ~3" of overhydrated coir on the bottom, the "coir floor" if you will :muppet: and it's been working out great

I don't see any issues with your cakes, well... on your way.  Hope to see them at the finish line.  I went water tub, but many ways to play these days.

Just want to share two flushes I harvested. Not quite entry worthy yet. My cakes rolled in coir are looking nice tho.

My cakes have been growing very slowly, to the point that I know they will not be done by the end. So today I shot them all up with LI, it's the same variety, PESH. Hopefully this does it.

I always realized something strange, I covered the holes with micropore tape initially, when I poked them with the needle, the "button" on the lids popped up. As though they had created a vacuum. I'm starting to think that the change in temperature paired with the lack of air exchange from the tape I was using did this. I'm also suspicious this may be responsible for the very slow growth.

Anybody experience this before? Almost every jar lids "button" lifted. When it happened I saw the dry verm move around which to me, confirms a vacuum had been created.

Columbia Rust Spore first pins on the early cake. Got more of these almost finished, took a long time with 750ml containers and starting from spores. Honestly impressed how clean those prints were.



This one is Great White Monster (AA+) x KSSS, a cross attempt by just mixing the spore prints and injecting. This is the first straw cake to be ready I think, and it seems like muda's RecIPe is indeed a good one. Such a mess to make in comparison to normal coir cakes though.



There's one big boy at the back, one gnarly looking KSSS pin. Hard to say if it was a succesful cross, I guess I won't necessarily see that in the F1, since they will likely default to standard looking cubes?

Pasty, when you were crossing Rustywhyte, did the F1 have the right color spores? Did you only get leucistics in F2s, or any pointers?

The KSSS was super agressive overall, so it's not out of the question that it simply outcompeted the AA+.

The water tubs are meant to be a tight seal right, without extra FAE? Cakes look a bit dry, maybe I should mist more.

There's both a sporeless (looking) fruit as well as a rumply ghost-cap variety thing on my B+. Really hittin some lotto tix on the multispore variety here, 2 for 2 on these cake doing neat shit.

Unless you consider impressive flushes neat.

Then they are not doing neat shit.
