love it, although atm makes me paranoid

I used to take 10mg gummies before going to the gym, those were awesome workouts as well

when i quit smoking tobacco joints (long after i quit tobacco, but i relapsed into mixing weed with it later on), i used weed to compensate and then directly went to yoga ! good sessions

hi people, recently been officially diagnosed with OCD, i'm considering starting SSRIs again, Sertralin specifically.

for those who have experience with it, how much was tripping impacted in your experience? i only like half gram of cubes every other day, or 50 mics lsd every week in summertime

Is your OCD interfering with your daily life? Does it create issues/difficulties?

Docs love stuffing us with pills for life. I would really think about it before committing to it. Or at least get a second opinion from another specialist.

I am not diagnosed but I think I am a bit OCD. I just live with it, it makes my production at work be spotless (a bit slower than your average Joe cos eye to detail is unmatched) But at my levels, medication is a BIG no no for me.

This being said, I am not a doctor or psychologist.

YMMV, DYOR

me neither, not doc nor psych, but I really think OCD symptoms are a natural aspect of associative mind, so we all have this faculty of checking and rechecking and getting into loops.
meds for that do not seem as useful, as learning to pause, and to breathe, to reconnect, and reset, maybe several times per day, or per hour.

Hey Epi, I used to have a friend who was on Sertraline. She never tried mushrooms and asked me for some. I gave her some potent ones and she barely felt a thing. So it probably dampens the experience.

not sure how that supports or dissolves what I said, however, I think of tics, loops and other sequenced behaviors that emerge as OCD symptoms in the same way that I think of patterns in a drum machine or sampler.
they run autonomously once triggerred, and can be combined with other voices or patterns to make music or raw chaos.
the system enables the content, music, patterns, or chaos. however it is perceived.

adding a drug for OCD alters the system but the content is still there, perhaps the system can no longer play the pattern at the same tempo while on the drug, but this affects all patterns not just the particular annoying tic or loop or cringe, so it makes your personal range smaller.

agreed to the first part

not necessarily to the 2nd. might just let the whole pattern flow more fluently

noise and tic patterns are still noise and tic patterns even when slowed down.

awareness and calm are what must be cultivated, and calm becomes soundproofing to noise and tics.

I remember when I first started off with mushrooms I was on an SSRI and I did not trip hard.

And medication is a valid tool for mental health. It's a good thing to use when you first start up with therapy to learn to control your symptoms. For some once they have the skills in place they can come of the antidepressants as they have some strong side effects for some people..

I'm not on meds anymore after doing a fuck tonne of therapy and self direct work.

very hard to cultivate calm on stimulants. rather when already cultivated, calming oneself is easier even when on stimulants
