Once, I was watching Fantasia with Yoshi (she was my main trip buddy) I was on a good chunk shrooms. The bit with the whale mother and its calf came on, she was on the bean bag and I was on the floor. She was fully watching the TV with me, I looked at her to say like "We're like the whales!" and I swear she just gave a typically sassy yet endearing look that said "Yeah- you're the small one."
:cantarguewiththat:
Later in the trip, I was look into her eyes and her whole face became one alien looking eye, a deep dialated pool and we both (presumably) fell asleep cos I woke up and she was laying slouched across my chest and snoring.

In general life, when she'd lie on my legs and I was in pjs or loose clothes, she would get pissed off if my balls were in the way of her perfect comfort, so she would glance back angrily- like "HOW DARE YOU HAVE THESE HERE" and just proceed to kick the hell out of them til she was comfy enough.
:tearchalice:

My cat Lonnie, my little apple of my eye- she is the smallest of the litter, her bro the largest. On acid, playing with her- I was making myself small and submissive trying to give her the thrill of being the boss. She got the memo and was terrorising me in the living room. I have a really clear memory of her towering over me with her paw raised and thinking "Aw shit I've really done it now" then as we were winding down, laying by the beanbag. I'll never forget it, I was saying how I wish I could hear her voice, like the sound of her thoughts or dialogue, she sat staring into my eyes for ages and then (again, tripping balls but just saying how it was) looked slightly as if she was straining, halfway to a slow blink,  and I saw a little puff above her head of sully coloured air, like a little momentary blue/cyan and purple OEV cloud/ puff. Then she started strutting around meowing proudly and rubbing up on stuff looking so proud.
I think that was her message to me, I assume it was positive.
Cats are the best. Tripping with cats, is just a whole different world.
:catman:

They do have some weird ass psychic power.  My wifes cat bees always knows five or ten minutes before she gets home from work or a trip.  Its kinda nice because it gives me a minute to straighten up the house .

Watched this the other night with my partner and thought it was a fun one. Very visually pleasing film, lots of social commentary

Sidenote, I've been putting off dealing with a hernia for months now and it's finally starting to become more of a problem and I'm taking myself to the doctor today. I'm close to 40 and have never had to get surgery before and I'm feeling kinda weird about it. I know I'm gonna be fine and blood/gore/pain really dont phase me, I usually watch when I've had to get blood drawn, watched my finger get 13 stitches put in it once, have tattoos on my neck and hands, etc., but somethings still making me feel uneasy about it. I honestly think a lot of it is coming from a financial standpoint, I already scrape by and adding this to the pile is gonna suck. I suppose having s functional gi system is important though.

I love boosters was such a fun watch, without ruining it for anyone it did get a lil funky when the suits come off but overall we just had so much fun with it.

Is this for a hiatal hernia? Thought it might be since you mentioned GI issues. I'm considering getting that done at one point if so. I'm uneasy about it as well, especially since it can happen again regardless of the surgery I'm worried it would be a bunch of recovery and then pop-up again in the future. That being said I'm reaching the point where I think it would greatly help me so I'm going to consider it.

It's an inguinal hernia, part of my intestines are hangin out next to muh balls rn :muppet: dont have a pcp so went to urgent care, got examined and told to go to the er instead lol. Will update later on what happens.

Sorry to hear about your kitty Beef, I'm sure your heart will guide you through this.

Oh yeah, boosters, yeah it def had some corny ass moments lol, but overall I thought it was just a really fun watch, awesome visuals. But yeah, just a good time, I also love the weird timeline jumpy style of storytelling going on, nice pace to the movie.

What a devastating thing to be dealing with.
My mom didn't have the money.
My first cat grew a bunch of tumors and was having hard time with mobility too and she took it out to the field let him play and try and catch some bugs for a little while and then she shot him in the head like Lenny in of mice and men.

She was devastated but she knew it was a mercy. I still think it was really hard on her.
I don't even like to  to think about it. But honestly I kind of hope that if I was in that cats position, someone would give me that mercy too.

Community call to action : help me help US

https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/29694557

for realsies its going to take me another few days to organize all this jazz and I know im missing quite a few of the more recent write ups. I used my partner being away on a trip to sink an ungodly amount of time into this but she gets back tomorrow night so I will no longer be able to spend 10 hour nights vegging out making bookmarks and taking bong rips into the early morning. i have a bit over 40 hours put into this and I'd like to finish her up expeditiously, if you will, so help a playa out

This is a work in progress, as it stands it is basically every tek I could find on the website in chronological order (except for the official shroomery tek pages) , no duplicates. There is a lot of organization to be done, credits and acknowledgements to the dozens of compendiums put together by members in the past, and ramblings about the process, all the jazz. in the meantime PLEASE send me a tek if you can not find it in this list. The older write-ups had plenty references made to them to find but newer teks are proving to be a PITA to hunt down, help me out if you have the inclination and we will all have a better website for it

brother no, I am not yet looking for suggestions on organization

Ive just come to the end of my "gathering links" phase and am beginning the sorting and categorization of it all, while I undergo those efforts though I am hoping members will send me any teks I missed that they feel deserve to be on the list

Is she the one you posted about recently? It may have been something cardiac related but I can't remember. I read it while I was tripping and then couldn't get it out of my head the whole trip. Even days after, I was still so worried about y'all both, but was scared to ask about her because if things didn't turn out, I didn't want to bring it up.

It makes me sad to read all these stories. I can't imagine life without mine. Beef, I'm positive you'll make the right decisions when it comes to your cat.

Whelp, sat around the er for 5 hours but I got me a referral for surgery, so thats cool. Time to take bong rips and veg out.

Someone mentioned mercy killing a pet earlier, I hope nobody has to ever go through that. I've had to do it to a couple of my ducks in the past and it fucking sucks. One was shredded from the base of its head to its chest by raccoons and still alive somehow, the other was after a neighbor's friend's dog jumped the fence and killed all but two of our birds, one managed to hide, the other was just barely hanging on. Watching one of your animals suffer is an s tier bad experience, but helping to end that suffering is ultimately your responsibility. Making the call to have a pet put down feels about the same as doing it yourself honestly. Idk where I'm going with this, just sharing I think. Been a long weird day.

I wouldn't say it's the same. Getting them put down, you are there holding them, reassuring them, and you are in a caretaking role. Shooting your own pet is MUCH different, at least I imagine it would be.

Coming home to a dying animal in a rural area, you are the vet, its your responsibility to end your animals suffering. If you dont think I brought that hatchet down with love and compassion and respect you shoud re-evaluate.
