Honestly it just moves up my schedule eventually I was gonna try and build some sort of deployable cover for the pond that I could keep on it for fall and possibly winter.
With the cover on and with the heater in basically ensure myself that nothing's gonna die but it's still a bummer getting lied to like that.

My mom and dad used to have an aquarium and my dad did get red bellied piranha. My mom got snake head.

Both of those fish are insanely illegal to have in an aquarium or a pond but they got them in Chinatown.

I'm confident I can keep the temperature from dipping below 50 and killing all of them.
The mystery snails I've gotten from two different pet stores and that was a lie as well. I made sure every single time I bought anything for that pond I asked if it would be fine in there over the winter. So far I've had three different shops sell me stuff that they said would be fine in there and all of them were liars.

Mystery snails cannot tolerate any temperature below 55°F.
I tried to look for them last night after I found out tried to scoop up any survivors I could I was gonna keep them inside in a bowl and I couldn't find even a single one.

Which bummed me out…
The snails were not cheap either. You'd be surprised how much money you can get charged for a couple of golden Inca mystery snails.

The actual snail that I was supposed to be getting sold in place of all the lies that people told me about the snails I had purchased is called a Japanese trap door snail.
Those snails have gills and are way more weathered tolerant and will have no issues surviving in my pond whatsoever.

The entire pet industry is just full of scamming liars and it pissed me off. As far as hobbit saying they're just pretty decoration. Fish do actually have a memory and they do remember their pond mates. So if six of their friends were to drop dead because of my negligence they would probably remember that for weeks if not months.
