It's bordering on delusion except that I know it's not real but it's feeling similar to what started as my near-psychosis earlier this year

I'm so sick of the relentless deja vu I've gotten over the past two years. Every day at least, usually multiple times a day.

To the point when I started my new job I was convinced I had worked there before.

They say that deja Vu is actually an akashic record from a previous lifetime. It seems plausible if you believe in reincarnation because we've all reincarnated and lived thousands of lives before this one.

Ah, from the other thread. I remember. You can also get DP/DR from the experience which might explain this. Not saying that's what it is, but it was one of the things I had to overcome afterwards.

Took me like 3 months to shake the DP/DR

6 months to shake the anhedonia

(Both of which I used CBT techniques to achieve)

and then around a year to feel like I was "myself" again

Yeah definitely I was dissociating to try and make myself feel better about what had happened, subconsciously

Irving boulevard can go fuck itself and so can everyone else who blocks the intersections on that road.

When you get a bunch of 5-year-olds to design the roads, Texas is what you get.

Considering what I've seen from Friendlyjordies and Site Inspections, the houses ain't much better.  And that's when they're NOT getting burned down by the Alameddines.

Sometimes I enjoy my job, and sometimes I just fuckin hate it. I think the times I hate it wouldn’t happen nearly as often if I wasn’t relying on other people to leave me a giant fucking mess to fix. I’d like to say “that’s why I get the big bucks” but who am I kidding, Germany doesn’t pay the big bucks.

I actually work alone in the field, as a part of a big company. I love working alone and don’t have to deal with any such workplace politics bullshit. But the office folks, clients, and the rest, often drop the ball and make my job much more difficult than it needs to be

Sorry Charlie. I'm not that bad off really. I'm fortunate that I can generally opt out and still survive.  Not that bad here, just lonely at times.

Your weekend with the pup was like that, huh..

I dropped a slice of pizza last night. . Was very disheartened.

..worse, the squirrels ignored it and raided my collection of mini pinecone, instead.

(Have found the appropriate spot to bitch about the squirrels)
